There are various benefits and advantages for choosing our Villa Naxia as your accomodation in Naxos. Villa Naxia is located right in front of Saint George Beach in a tranquil area without traffic and noise but at the same time very close to Naxos City (350m).

The harbour (1 km) and the airport (2 km) are not very far away. You can go by foot from Villa Naxia to the harbour and enjoy the sea view while walking along the coast passed cafes, bars, restaurants and the beach promenade’s shopping mile.

Being centrally located, naxos island is the ideal starting point for Cyclades island hopping. Daily trips to Syros, Paros, Ios, Santorini, Mykonos as well as the smaller cyclades islands Amorgus, Schinousa, Koufonisia, Donousa and Iraklia. Chat with us if you need further information.

Getting to Naxos

By sea

The ferries operate daily from Athens (Piräus and Rafina) to Naxos. With the speed boat take 3-5 hours to get to Naxos. The Blue Star Ferries 5-7 hours. The duration depends on the weather and route taken. The Piraeus Harbour is about 1,5 h away from the international airport. You can get to the harbour by bus (X96), by underground or by taxi. The Rafina Harbour is max. 1 hour away from the international airport. You can get there directly by bus (KTEL) or by taxi.

By air

There are daily flights from and to the International Airport of Athens „Eleftherios Venizelos“. The flight takes 30 minutes. Flights are often fully booked so we do recommend you book your flights well in advance. You can book your flight to one of the other Cyclades islands too – for example Santorini or Mykonos and then a ferry cross to Naxos Island.
